Complete sequence of genome segment 10, encoding the NS3 protein, of bluetongue virus, serotype 1 from South Africa

Complete sequence of genome segment 10, encoding the NS3 protein, of bluetongue virus, serotype 1 from South Africa

Nucleic Acids Research 18(16): 4920-4920

The dsRNA genome segment 10 of bluetongue virus encodes the two non-structural proteins, NS3 and NS3a. No function has as yet been assigned to these two proteins, but they have similar tryptic peptide maps, indicating that they are translated from the same open reading frame.
