Cultivar variations in some agro-physiological traits of soybean

Cultivar variations in some agro-physiological traits of soybean

Legume Research 12(1): 31-34

Six soyabean cultivars grown at 0.2, 0.4 or 0.6 million plants/ha differed for DM accumulation/plant, LAI, light penetration, NAR and CGR at 30, 45 and 60 d after sowing (DAS). Increase in plant density decreased DM/plant and light penetration and increased LAI. At the 1st stage (30-45 DAS) NAR was highest in Bragg and lowest in DS-76-1-29, while at the 2nd stage (45-60 DAS) it was highest in DS-76-1-29 and lowest in PK-262.
