Cultivating Agaricus bisporus in cold beds



Zhongguo Shiyongjun Edible Fungi of China (3): 10-11



In trials with 2 strains of A. bisporus, crops were grown on beds either indoors or outdoors. Strain Zhenong No. 1 yielded more than strain 11 and both strains gave higher yields on outdoor beds than on indoor beds. Problems of growing the crop outdoors are discussed.
