Cultivation of Stylosanthes guyanensis in the Ivory Coast

Stylosanthes guyanensis is used as cover crop in orchards or as a fodder crop in rotation with fruit crops in many tropical African countries. This paper describes some aspects of its cultivation in the Ivory Coast, including soil preparation, sowing date and sowing density, weed control, yield and nutritive value.
