Data are given on fresh and oven-dry above-ground biomass yields, energy production and fodder characteristics of Eucalyptus occidentalis and Acacia salicina grown over 2- or 4-yr rotations in 0.35-ha rainfall harvesting basins in Wadi Mashash, Israel. Mean annual precipitation was 115 mm and no supplementary irrigation was given.
