Cultivation techniques for Lentinus edodes

Cultivation techniques for Lentinus edodes

Zhongguo Shiyongjun Edible Fungi of China (4): 29

The cultivation of Lentinus edodes is discussed with reference to substrates (including the use of gypsum in substrates), the relatively low temperature requirements of the fungus, the humidity requirements, the need for ventilation, the light requirements, and the substrate pH (which is most favourable at about 5).
