Cultural and morphological characters of isolates of some Verticillium dahliae Kleb. populations in Turkmenistan



Izvestiya Akademii Nauk Turkmenskoi SSR (6): 21-26



Study of isolates from cotton from different locations showed that the fungus was morphologically heterogeneous in artificial nutrients and had intraspecific forms differing in pigmentation of aerial and substrate mycelium, growth rate of colonies, and in the formation of conidial, microsclerotial and mycelial sectors.
