Current status and development of mechanical-chemical methods of potato cultivation

The influence of various factors on the economical use of herbicides on potato crops is discussed. Factors include soil type, previous crop, predominant weeds, weather conditions during cultivation and available machinery. By carefully selecting and combining suitable soil cultivation equipments it is possible to reduce herbicide applications for the control of problem weeds.
