Current status of mango malformation disease in Florida

Current status of mango malformation disease in Florida

Proceedings of the Interamerican Society for Tropical Horticulture 30: 223-226

Mango malformation caused by Fusarium moniliforme was first reported in Florida in 1972. Mango malformation is not an important problem in Florida but the incidence of infection seems to be increasing slowly. Symptoms have been observed in several orchards in Dade and Palm Beach counties. Infection is most severe under unusually wet conditions.
