Cutaneous phaeohyphomycosis caused by Scytalidium lignicola - report of the first three cases in Brazil

Three cases of cutaneous S. lignicola infection are briefly reported. A 61-yr-old woman presented with scaling, maceration and erythema of interdigital spaces, and chronic thickened and dystrophic toe nails; a 38-yr-old woman had chronic onychomycosis of the big toe; and a 37-yr-old man had chronic intertriginous lesions of the feet.
