Cutaneous, ocular, and osteoarticular candidiasis in patients who are not heroin addicts

Cases are reported in 2 nonimmunosuppressed patients with systemic candidosis who were not heroin addicts but who had a clinical course entirely comparable with that reported in heroin addicts. A 25-yr-old man developed cutaneous, ocular and osteoarticular Candida albicans infection and a 70-yr-old man suffered cutaneous, ocular and pulmonary C. tropicalis infection.
