Residues of carbaryl resulting from treatment of a pea crop in Delhi, India, with 0.2% carbaryl at flowering and 20 days later were determined. Following the first treatment, the initial residues were 14.20 p.p.m. These were reduced to 10.35, 6.42, 3.85 and 1.58 p.p.m., 3, 7, 10 and 15 days later, resp. The initial residues after the 2nd treatment were 16.70 p.p.m., these decreased to 14.52, 8.86, 7.80, 6.65, 3.00 and 0.65 p.p.m., 1, 7, 10, 15, 25 and 30 days later, resp.
