Dry matter production and nutrient absorption in sweet sorghum (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench) on a red latosol

Sweet sorghum Brandes was grown at 140 000 plants/ha and sampled at 14-day intervals for a total of 98 days. DM increased to 15.9 t/ha at 98 days, the fastest growth occurring between 56 and 70 days. N, P, K, Ca, Mg, B, Cu, Fe, Mn and Zn contents decreased and S content remained the same as the material aged.
