Effect of enzymatic predigestion of feed on the productive performances of fattening pigs

Trials were made on 6 Landrace X Large White fattening pigs, prepared with gastric cannulae and with initial average body weight of 70 kg, and fed by 4 methods: (1) 18% of daily ration by mouth and 82% by stomach, in 2 meals at 0800 and 1400 h; (2) 32% by mouth and 68% by stomach; (3) 100% by stomach also in 2 meals; and (4) 100% by mouth, in 2 meals.
