Effect of nitrogen fertilizer and stand density on yield and technological quality in spring wheat varieties

In all, 5 varieties were tested during 1975-82 in 2 series of experiments at 5 sites in Poland (4 varieties during 1975-77 under 3 NPK regimes and 3 stand densities and 3 varieties during 1979-82 under 5 N regimes and 3 densities). An N dose of 80 kg/ha was best for all varieties. Jara gave the highest yield (in the 1979-82 tests).
