Effect of nozzle orientation and spraying oil on boomspray patterns for flat surface spraying

Effect of nozzle orientation and spraying oil on boomspray patterns for flat surface spraying

Conference on agricultural engineering Proceedings of a conference held at Hawkesbury, Richmond, NSW, Australia, 25-30 September 1988: 142-146

Experiments were conducted to determine the effect of nozzle height, spacing and angle, and the use of spraying oil on spray deposition and uniformity for flat surface spraying. Analysis using a fluorescent dye tracer technique showed that spray deposition and uniformity were influenced by nozzle type and position. As nozzle height was reduced from 700 to 360 mm, uniformity and deposition increased.
