Effect of nutrition on downy mildew disease caused by Pseudoperonospora cubensis (Berk. & Curt.) Rostow. on muskmelon

Annals of Arid Zone 27(2): 153-155

Seeds of melon Durgapura Madhu were treated with thiram and at 45 and 60 d after sowing were exposed to different levels of N, P and K and 6 trace elements. High doses of P reduced incidence of P. cubensis but lower concn together with N and K increased disease intensity. The effect of K was unclear.
