The pooled dry pod and creeper yields were not influenced significantly by different irrigation levels. It is advisable to irrigate summer groundnut at 0.6 IW/CPE ratio, which requires 8 irrigations including 3 common irrigations at initial stage besides pre-sowing irrigation. Early monsoon rains after about 100 to 110 days from sowing did not affect the irrigation needs of summer groundnut during late stage of crop growth except difficulty in harvest of crop. The cry pod and creeper yields of variety M-13 were significantly more than other varieties during all the three years and in pooled data. Thus, variety M-13 had shown superior performance with scheduling of irrigation at 0.6 IW/CPE ratio during summer season under Pune [India] conditions.
