An analysis was made of data on 624 Landrace from the 1st-5th generations of a selection programme in which were selected primarily on body weight and backfat thickness at 8 wk of age, and were selected secondarily on daily gain up to 90 kg body weight and backfat thickness and eye-muscle area at 90 kg.
