Effects of the plant growth inhibitors B9 and CCC on dwarfing and flowering of Petunia plants

Effects of the plant growth inhibitors B9 and CCC on dwarfing and flowering of Petunia plants

Acta Horticulturae Sinica 14(3): 197-202

B9 at 1500-6000 p.p.m. reduced plant size by 62-67% compared with untreated controls if applied during the vegetative stage and by 41-46% if applied during flowering. CCC at 2500-10 000 p.p.m. reduced plant size by 19-50% if applied during the vegetative stage and by 3-23% if applied at flowering. B9 at 1500-3000 p.p.m. increased the number of flowers, but B9 at 6000 p.p.m. and CCC at 2500-10 000 p.p.m. slightly reduced the number of flowers.
