, : Effects of transplanting date and fertilizer application system on the yield of rice cultivar Mineasahi grown in Keichiku district, Fukuoka Prefecture. Report of the Kyushu Branch of the Crop Science Society of Japan 55: 31-34

In trials in 1985-87, rice Mineasahi was transplanted on various dates from 6 May to 20 June and Koshihikari was transplanted on 6 May or 5 June. Yields of Mineasahi increased from 5.02 t/ha with the earliest transplanting to 5.45 t when transplanted on 5 June and with transplanting on 20 June were 5.03 t/ha. Yields of Koshihikari were 5.25 t with transplanting on 6 May and 5.27 t with transplanting on 5 June.
