Effects of transplanting date and fertilizer application system on the yield of rice cultivar Mineasahi grown in Keichiku district, Fukuoka Prefecture
In trials in 1985-87, rice Mineasahi was transplanted on various dates from 6 May to 20 June and Koshihikari was transplanted on 6 May or 5 June. Yields of Mineasahi increased from 5.02 t/ha with the earliest transplanting to 5.45 t when transplanted on 5 June and with transplanting on 20 June were 5.03 t/ha. Yields of Koshihikari were 5.25 t with transplanting on 6 May and 5.27 t with transplanting on 5 June.
