Epidemiology of coccidia (Protozoa: Eimeriidae) in sheep under the silvopastoral system in southern Chile

On a natural pasture interspersed with pine trees and with a stocking rate of 6 animals per hectare, it was observed that sheep older than one year passed fewer oocysts (not more than 1600 per gram of faeces) than the lambs.
