Examining of break-up of dry stem material while conveying with suction-pressure blower and suction-pressure blower with an injector feeder

Examining of break-up of dry stem material while conveying with suction-pressure blower and suction-pressure blower with an injector feeder

Acta Academiae Agriculturae ac Technicae Olstenensis, Aedificatio et Mechanica (18): 211-224

The crumble coeff. of dry stem material (rye straw after combine harvesting, meadow hay and red clover hay) conveyed by a suction-pressure blower and by suction pressure blower with an injector feeder was investigated. The influence of pneumatic conveying efficiency, angular velocity of the blower blade and type of material on the crumble coeff. was studied. Values of crumble coeff. are presented and a straight linear regression equation was determined by the least squares method.
