Exflasking high health Daphne plantlets

Exflasking high health Daphne plantlets

Combined Proceedings International Plant Propagators' Society 1989; 38: 394-398

Experiments were aimed to improve in vivo rooting and survival of Daphne odora, cultivars Leucanthe and Rubra, shoots produced in vitro. The results indicated that microcuttings were competent to form roots regardless of their size and weight. The quick-dip method of treatment with IBA or NAA did not promote root formation. Soaking the cutting bases for 2 or 5 days prior to transplanting, in a solution containing 5 p.p.m. IBA + 5 p.p.m.
