Exine structure of pollen collected by the Anthophora of Senegal

Exine structure of pollen collected by the Anthophora of Senegal

Sci Geol Bull 38(1): 99-106

Analysis of pollen loads of 11 Anthophora bees captured in Senegal revealed the presence of pollen grains from 15 plant taxa; 10 of these are illustrated. The effect of pollen grain structure and odour on foraging by Anthophora species is discussed.^CENTREQUAD~D.G.
