Exocytosis of Toxoplasma gondii dense granules into the parasitophorous vacuole after host cell invasion

Exocytosis of Toxoplasma gondii dense granules into the parasitophorous vacuole after host cell invasion

Parasitology Research 76(7): 559-562

Tachyzoites of T. gondii (RH strain) have been shown to exocytose the contents of dense granules into the parasitophorous vacuole after host cell invasion. A monoclonal antibody specific for a protein of 27 000 MW was used to locate the dense granules by immunoelectron microscopy.
