Exogenous application of vitamins as regulators for growth and development of plants - a review

Exogenous application of vitamins as regulators for growth and development of plants - a review

Zeitschrift fur Pflanzenernahrung und Bodenkunde 150(6): 375-391

Recent literature on plant responses to exogenous vitamin application is reviewed with reference to application methods (spraying or seed soaking), functions of vitamins in plants, morphogenetic effects, protective functions of vitamins against air pollution and diseases, effect of vitamins on plants under stress, vitamins in the rhizophere, effects on nitrate reduction and transpiration and uses in plant propagation.
