Experience in controlling swine dysentery with Mecadox in fattening pigs

Experience in controlling swine dysentery with Mecadox in fattening pigs

Veterinarski Glasnik 43(10): 945-948

In 1984 a severe swine dysentery outbreak on a large fattening farm was controlled by giving carbadox as 0.1% of the feed for the first 35-40 days of fattening, that is until the pigs were about 45 kg in body weight and there were 9.5-10 weeks to go before slaughter.
