Experiences in modelling water and land resources within a climate change framework

Some recent models of the impacts of future climatic change on water and land resources at a regional scale are discussed. One of the problems of regional modelling is the difference in scales of global and regional models, hence interpolation of climate model outputs is required. Results of a study of the impacts of CO2-induced climatic change on Ontario are presented. It is forecast that net basin supply and levels in the Great Lakes would decrease.
