Experiences in research with Ethrel on Jonagold

Experiences in research with Ethrel on Jonagold

Fruitteelt Den Haag 79(30): 16-17

Recent Dutch research on the effects of applying Ethrel to Jonathan apple trees at different concentrations and timings (2-6 weeks before harvest) is reviewed. Data are included from trials comparing the effects of Alar at 0.2% and Ethrel at 0.1%, either alone or together 6 weeks before harvest, on the average fruit weight and fruit skin quality after storage until 14 Apr.
