The experience gained between 1982 and 1987 under conditions of intensive cattle grazing on a regional, large-scale livestock farm in the Schwerin area, German Democratic Republic, with regard to prevention and control of lungworm, gastrointestinal nematode and coccidial infections in heifers on pasture is described.
