The workshop was held at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), supported by a grant from the Health and Population Division of the Overseas Development Administration. This was part of a study of the methods used by non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in targeting emergency food aid in Africa, carried out jointly by the Relief and Development Institute and the Human Nutrition Unit, LSHTM.
