Experiences with marigold as a pigment source in poultry feeding

In a 21-day trial, 12 marigold meal products manufactured in Mexico were evaluated with laying hens, testing yolk pigmentation, carotenoid concentration in egg yolk and serum and with broilers, testing skin pigmentation on breast and thigh.
