Experimental analysis on strength of pipe-houses with ground anchoring (1). Actual size experiment

Experimental analysis on strength of pipe-houses with ground anchoring (1). Actual size experiment

Journal of the Society of Agricultural Structures 19(3): 29-38

Experiments on the yield strength of tubular constructions were conducted. These houses use pipe frames, which are anchored to the ground by being pushed into the ground for 30-40 cm. Twelve pipe-houses were evaluated; they were divided into 8 types, depending upon the method of pipe connection at the ridge (joint type), the use of braces, and the span size.
