Experimental bovine babesiasis: changes in blood proteins and the effect injecting a preparation containing copper, cobalt and iodine with casein and gelatine

12 cows were inoculated with blood from a cow with acute babesiasis (Babesia species not stated). 6 of them had been injected with a mineral preparation two weeks beforehand, and this seemed to help them to overcome babesiasis, because the fall in blood proteins was not as great as in 6 untreated, infected cows.
