Experimental infection of A X C rats with increasing doses of Trichinella spiralis larvae and the resultant distribution of larvae in different muscle tissues

Experimental infection of A X C rats with increasing doses of Trichinella spiralis larvae and the resultant distribution of larvae in different muscle tissues

Boletin Chileno de Parasitologia 43(3-4): 74-75

The number of T. spiralis larvae in the muscle tissue of experimentally infected rats was proportional to the number of larvae in the infecting dose. The greatest proportion of larvae was found in the diaphragm and the smallest in the muscles of the neck or abdomen.
