Factors associated with seasonality of milk production in New York State

Journal of Dairy Science 72(4): 1072-1079

Louisville and base-excess plans have been developed in New York State to encourage farmers to produce milk more evenly throughout the year. A postal survey of randomly selected farmers in New York State, to evaluate the success of the plans, produced 1061 responses.
