Factors that influence the diagnostic specificity of excretory-secretory antigens obtained by in vitro maintenance of Trichinella spiralis L1, and the sensitivity of these antigens in the detection of sylvatic as well as synanthropic isolates of T. spiralis from pigs were examined.
