Famous vegetable cultivars in Shandong province

Zuowu Pinzhong Ziyuan ( 1): 37-38
Famous vegetable cultivars in Shandong province
The Chinese cabbage variety Jiaozhou, also known as Jiaobai, has early, intermediate and late forms, all of which can be grown in damp, coastal conditions. The early form does not store well. Fushan Baotou also has 3 forms; the form with the smallest head is grown as an early vegetable and does not store, unlike the other 2 larger and later forms. All have wide adaptability and resistance to poor conditions.
