Coton et Fibres Tropicales 44(4): 305-316, 316-321

Poissongui, a village typical of the region, has been monitored since 1985 by the IRCT Agronomic Section in Togo. The village farms are large and the land has been cropped continuously for several decades. In addition, increased landholding pressures have resulted in decreased rangeland area and a decline in cattle rearing, which remains little integrated in the farming system.
