Field evaluation of rice for resistance to leaffolder, Cnaphalocrocis medinalis Guenee

Among 128 entries assessed 90 and 110 days after sowing in 1984, 10 were free from damage by the pest. Of the 10, IET8675, IET8698 and IET8710 are regarded as promising owing to grain yields in excess of 4 t/ha.
