Heat-and-physical and heat-exchange characteristics of working substances for power plants circuits

Tekhnika v Sel' skom Khozyaistve ( 3): 27-28

Experimental equipment was used to establish physical properties and heat exchange characteristics of solar panels. A solar panel was represented by a system of water-filled pipes, and a mixture of diphenyls and ditolylmethane was used as the heat exchange medium. The temp., coeff. of heat exchange, viscosity of the medium and thermal capacity were measured and verified by theoretical calculations. Results of measurements are given in a table.
