Heavy metal uptake by Armillaria lutea growing in a Pino-Quercetum forest treated with cadmium dust

The effects of different doses of cadmium dust on A. lutea growth and heavy metal content were observed on experimental plots in a mixed forest near Kracow, Poland. A marked increase in the number of fruitbodies and significantly higher Zn, Cd, Pb and Cu concn were found.
