61 P. fasciata from the Bering Sea were examined for helminth parasites. 13 species were found: Anophryocephalus ochotensis, Diphyllobothrium cordatum, D. lanceolatum, Orthosplanchnus fraterculus, Contracaecum osculatum, Pseudoterranova decipiens, Dipetalonema spirocauda, Corynosoma semerme, C. strumosum, C. validum, C. villosum, C. hadweni and Bolbosoma sp.
