Herbicide-resistant reaction center mutants of Rhodopseudomonas viridis



Progress in Photosynthesis Research Volume 2: 397-400



Recombination kinetics data revealed that reaction centres from 2 mutant strains of R. viridis, RV1 and RV4, tolerant of terbutryn, displayed reduced binding for substrate quinone and several inhibitor s-triazines compared to those from wild type R. viridis.
