Heritabilities and path coefficient analysis for some characters in Upland cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.)



Mesopotamia Journal of Agriculture 18(1): 23-32



Data are analysed on seed yield/plant and 4 related traits from a 5 X 5 diallel cross studied in 1983. Heritability estimates were highest for plant height (38%) followed by bolls/plant (34), seed index (29) and seed yield (23).
