Abstract
The histological study on the skin was conducted on 24 male buffalo calves. The elastic fibres were more prominant at the ends of errector pili muscles. Rise in type-I, type-II and type-III kinds of sweat glands in relation to rise in temperature was observed. Abundence of type-II glands in the hot dry season with cold water treatment in group-II was a striking feature. Congestion of blood vessels were noticed in hot-dry season.
