Hydro-meteorology of a Benguet pine (Pinus kesiya Royle ex Gordon) watershed with different stocking levels

Hydro-meteorology of a Benguet pine (Pinus kesiya Royle ex Gordon) watershed with different stocking levels

Sylvatrop 8(2-4): 79-97

The results of a study in a 10-12 yr old natural stand at Loakan, Baguio City, Philippines, thinned at 3 intensities (25, 50 and 75%). For all rainfall durations and rainfall classes, heavily thinned plots had significantly higher surface runoff and sediment yield than either lightly thinned or unthinned (control) plots.
