In 1984-86, following bark treatment with an adhesive paste of 15% a.i., the translocation, distribution and breakdown of methamidophos after penetration into the ascending sap of Norway spruce in SW E. Germany, was assessed using beta -radiation of 32P, sample analysis and autoradiography.
