The paper presents new evidence on changes in inter-sectoral and intra-sectoral terms of trade in Pakistan for the period 1969/70-1986/70. The changes in income terms of trade indicate the potential possibilities with respect to resource mobilization, while changes in net barter terms of trade for the entire sector or for different crops highlight the nature of changing signals for resource allocation.
